SEAN ROOSSIEN is a classically trained singer and composer based in Dallas, Texas.
Sean has a Bass voice with a rich, full timbre and an extensive vocal range from deep, resonant low notes to relaxed, bright high notes. His repertoire includes a variety of opera and art song in six languages.
In the 2025 season, Sean performed in Don Giovanni with Opera Arlington in June, will perform with Atchley Opera in Gianni Schicchi in August, and will perform with the University of North Texas Opera in Gianni Schicchi and Aleko in the fall.
As a composer, Sean has a particular interest in writing for the voice, though his portfolio includes a wide range of instrumental and vocal works.
Sean also teaches private lessons in classical voice, music theory, piano, and composition.
Sean studies vocal performance with Dr. Stephen Morscheck and music composition with Dr. Joseph Klein at the University of North Texas College of Music in Denton, Texas.
Prior to UNT, Sean studied vocal performance with Dr. Jonathan Retzlaff and music composition with Dr. Michael Kurek at the Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music in Nashville, Tennessee.
