SEAN ROOSSIEN is a classically trained singer based in Dallas, Texas.
Sean has a Bass voice with a rich, full timbre and an extensive vocal range from deep, resonant low notes to relaxed, bright high notes. His repertoire includes a variety of opera and art song in six languages.
In 2026, Sean will perform the role of Sarastro in Mozart's The Magic Flute at the University of North Texas (UNT), as well as perform in Handel's Alcina and the world premiere of Lisa DeSpain's That Hellbound Train with UNT Opera.
In 2025, Sean performed the role of Betto di Signa in Gianni Schicchi with Atchley Opera, in Don Giovanni with Opera Arlington, and in Gianni Schicchi and Aleko with UNT Opera.
Sean studies vocal performance with Dr. Stephen Morscheck at the University of North Texas College of Music in Denton, Texas, where he regularly performs with UNT Opera. Prior to UNT, Sean studied vocal performance with Dr. Jonathan Retzlaff at the Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music in Nashville, Tennessee.
